New Location
In April 2007, WALSTEAD MERTSCHING PS moved to the newly built Civic Center Professional Building located at 1700 Hudson Street, Longview, Washington. Our office, which is accessible by elevator, occupies the entire third floor. As you travel around the Civic Circle you will see the impressive building which is situated between the historic Monticello Hotel and Longview Post Office. Our main entrance and parking lot are located off Hudson Street, with the Post Office to our right, and Key Bank to our left.

Luke Hansen
WALSTEAD MERTSCHING PS gladly welcomes Luke Hansen, a new associate, to the firm.
Hansen is a 2003 graduate of St. Norbert College (Wisconsin) and graduated in 2006 from the University of North Dakota School of Law. After law school Hansen spent a year as a law clerk for the North Dakota Supreme Court. He then spent two years as a law clerk for the United States District Court for the District of North Dakota.
Hansen and his wife, Kendall, look forward to exploring the Pacific Northwest and to getting involved in the local community.

Adam C. Guenther
The law firm of WALSTEAD MERTSCHING PS has hired Adam C. Guenther as a new associate.
Guenther's practice consists of general civil litigation including personal injury, labor law, employment law, and contract disputes. He joined WALSTEAD MERTSCHING PS with five years combined experience assisting workers in their efforts to form labor unions and negotiate agreements. Guenther has represented both labor and management at arbitrations concerning issues regarding an existing collective bargaining agreement.
Guenther is a graduate of Eastern Oregon University (magna cum laude) and he received his J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2008. Prior to law school Guenther taught English as part of a State Department work study program through the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City, Mexico, and is fluent in Spanish.
Guenther and his wife, Faye, have two young children, Cecelia and Pierson.
