Lisa joined WALSTEAD MERTSCHING PS in 2003. She has assisted in several support areas of the firm but spent her first 8 years as the firm’s Billing Specialist and Assistant Bookkeeper. In 2009, Lisa transitioned to a Paralegal position working initially in Landlord/Tenant Law. In 2011, took a position as a Family Law Paralegal for Chelsea C. Baldwin and Nicole M. Tideman. Lisa earned her Associate’s Degree as a Paralegal at Clark College in 1997 and prior to joining WALSTEAD MERTCHING, she worked an an intern for an attorney practicing Criminal Law and Family Law in Vancouver, Washington.
Lisa grew up in Vancouver, Washington. She was a member of Spartan's Drum & Bugle Corps and performed with them for five years, which enabled her to travel all over the U.S. Lisa is also an accomplished flutist. She has worked in several different fields, including purchasing, accounting, payroll, and human resources for NERCO Minerals Company, a silver and gold mining company.
