Kara L. Cope


Kara joined the Walstead Mertsching team in October 2003.  She is originally from
Portland, Oregon, where she procured her Associates Degree in Advanced Paralegal Studies.

She started her paralegal journey in St. Helens, Oregon, primarily focusing on criminal, family, and juvenile law.  She then went on to work in Portland, Oregon, expanding her experience to include maritime and complex real estate litigation.

Now, Kara is the primary litigation paralegal for Mark S. Brumbaugh, Matthew J. Andersen, and Nicole M. Tideman.  Kara has an extensive background of litigation experience in personal injury, employment issues, and civil disputes.  She is a member of the Washington Association for Justice.

Kara enjoys time with her family, being outdoors, and a fun game of golf.
