Barry J. Dahl

BARRY J. DAHL joined the firm in 1971 and became a Shareholder in 1973.

Mr. Dahl retired from Walstead Mertsching in 2015 after 44 years with the firm.  He provided legal representation in family law (dissolutions, custody, property division and support) and also represented the Kelso and Woodland Diking Improvement Districts, North Kelso and Willow Grove Diking and Drainage Districts, as well as the Lexington Flood Control Zone District.

He is past Board President and Board Member of the Cowlitz county Bar Association. Mr. Dahl is the present Board President and Board Member of Life Works and present Chariman of The Friends of Longview, a committee of the Longview Public Service Group. He also has been actively involved in community volunteer work as the past Board Member and past President of the Adult Development Center from 1979 to 2008, past President of the Longview Pioneer Lions and Longview Ski Club, and past Board Member of the Longview Jaycees and Cowlitz County Slow Pitch Association. He has also been selected to the Cowlitz County Slow Pitch Hall of Fame.
